I forgot to mention that I got home at the time the Feira de Artesanato has ended. Don't have too much report about it except it went really fine.
Here's a photo of my table:
And now only two days left t'ill Lisboa Games Week! As I said I'll be there selling my artwork, with the company of another artist and good friend
. Here's an image of the map with a point mark indicating where our tables are placed.
The event will be in FIL - Parque das Nações in Lisbon.
I'll see you guys there
Ti'll then, be good!
Before I give the information that's here themed, I can now say, now that we know who won the american elections, it's over, isn't it?
I can't believe how America can be so dumb (no ofence) on trusting a maniac man to be their ruler.
Guess I never felt so scared on how this planet's future will now deal with.
So thank you, America, for being more autistic than me.
Anyways, now to the real subject that I was suppose to tell yesterday.
We're already at the last week of the weekend of the Feira de Artesanato São Martinho com Cheirinho a Natal, as I already mentioned I'll be there selling my work.
Also, since yesterday I had full confirmation, at days 17 to 20 of this month I'll be present in Lisboa Games Week also selling my work, accompanied with talented artist and good friend
Don't lose the opurtunity and take a visit to these two events.
Ti'll then, be good!
Sorry for being late on giving my feedback only now but monday and yesterday I got with some stuff to do.
Well, here we go...
So I'm back from the Gabantte Japanese School Festival, and unfortunately I can't say it was good.
The event team supported the artists as best they could, but being the first edition is regrettable that it has been so poorly publicized to what it should be, which led to a low turnout of visitors, in addition to the ticket prices they were high, which also unmotivated greater participation.
Consequently the sales were very (x4) weak. The losers were, of course, we artists. In the Artist Alley almost no one was able to recover the money from the bank. To compensate for the lack of public of accession, which is not our responsibility, the organization should take the initiative to return half of the value of the stands.
Of course the event didn't go as I had expected
However there was willingness and cooperation of the organization and other artists.
Thank you for the conviviality and folks that went through my bank!
And now here are some photos
Here's a photo of my table.
And although the event didn't go well, on sunday a group of Portuguese actors, especially the ones who are behind of the Portuguese version of Sailor Moon Crystal, went to the event and talked with the guests and the fans. It was really great meeting them, and I even got the opportunity to take a photo with the Portuguese Tuxedo Kamen, also known as Rogério Jacques.
Well, this is the feedback. And now, on the next month I'll be at the second edition of the Feira de Artesanato São Martinho com Cheirinho a Natal, where I'll be in with my table selling my products at November 12th at 15h and 13th at 10h30 in the Salão da Serrana A.D.C.R. in Serra d'El Rei (Peniche).
I'll wait for you guys then
My apologizes for writing this only now, but things haven't been going well with me lately.
I've been under pressure with my work for the next conventions and I haven't been dealing well with my family as well, feeling stressed and depressed over these few months. And the commissions I still have on stand by have been too slow that I'm afraid that I'll only be able to work on them again once everything is settle. I just hope the next upcoming conventions will cheer me up.
And speaking of conventions I'll be in some in these two months.
The first one will be Ganbatte - Japanese School Festival at days 22 and 23 of this month (this weekend actually
) in D. Pedro V High School in Lisbon. Here's the map just in case you pass by and want to know where I am.
The second one will be in my town, the Feira de Artesanato S. Martinho com Cheirinho a Natal, at November 12th and 13th in Serrana A.D.C.R. Hall in Serra d'El Rei (Peniche).
There's also another con at November but I'm still waiting for my table's confirmation. Once I know something I'll inform you.
I'll be waiting for you there, selling my new stuff I've been working on.
T'ill then, see you guys then!
